└ Module: Steam
NOTE: All Engines must be powered by Redstone in order to operate.
This is your chance to build your very own working Steam Engine! Here was have a complete set of plans for a small scale Hobbyist's Steam Engine. This Engine is unique in that it has its own internal boiler that can run on a wide variety of solid fuels and can output up to 16 RF/t! For even more power you can attach an external Steam source to boost the Engine's output to 20 RF/t. (See our companion product, the Steam Boiler.) It has a 100,000 RF internal buffer.
One word of warning though! Steam can be dangerous! Make sure to keep the Engine supplied with water at all times! If it runs out, you'll have to wait for the engine to cool back down before adding more water. If you add water to a dry and hot Engine, it can explode!
If you are just not one of those people with the skills to build from scratch, well don't worry we have a professionally designed kit as well. This particular Commercial Steam Engine is capable of a constant 4 MJ output if supplied with plenty of Steam. It does not however have an internal boiler so you'll need to supply your own Steam. (See our companion product, the Steam Boiler.)
Now, some of our customers might need something bigger than our standard products, but don't worry! We've recently introduced a new line of Industrial Steam Engines capable of outputting a whopping 8 MJ! Like our Commercial Steam Engines, the Industrial Steam Engine does require an external source of Steam, so be sure to check out our companion product, the Steam Boiler.
