Railcraft is internally split into a number of distinct logical feature blocks. These collections of features can easily be enabled/disable all at once simply by modifying the “modules.cfg” file in the “.minecraft/config/railcraft” folder.

These modules are similar to Redpower's file based module system, but has the added advantage of not requiring you to download a dozen different files.
