Electric Locomotivess require electricity to function. They can be powered from the side by an Electric Feeder Unit, or from below using Electric Shunting Wire. To feed power from below, wire needs to be threaded through a wire support frame.

As of Railcraft Reborn v1.2.4 this structure is now just called a Frame.
