**Reinforced Track** has a couple of benefits over [[track_type:iron|Iron Track Type]]. 
  * It has a stronger blast resistance. (45, enough for TNT explosions)
  * It's also 25% faster than the iron track type.
Compared to [[track_type:hs|H.S. Track type]], it is way slower, and way safer.

However, you should use place reinforced tracks on blast resistant blocks, since the track will always drop once the supporting block is removed.
