Every rail needs some kind of support to keep the rails upright and the correct distance apart. For that purpose we have **Ties**. **Ties** come in two varieties (wood and stone) and are used to make [[Part:Railbeds|Railbeds]] and a few other things. In order to preserve Wooden Ties for extended use they must be coated with [[fluid:Creosote Oil|Creosote Oil]]. Stone Ties need to have some [[Part:Rebar|Rebar]] or iron included to give them strength.
