Sulfur Ore can be found in Extreme Mountains and Extreme Mountains Edge Biomes. It is found around layer 10, but only near lava pools.

When broken it drops several [[part:dust|Sulfur Dusts]]. Sulfur Dust is a key ingredient in making Gunpowder, <del>though there may be other uses in the future.</del>
it can also be used as the Sulfur Dust in IndustrialCraft2 to make Batteries.
